S.E.Proposed tour location
Île aux Aigrettes
A small island in the bay of Mahébourg, known for its coastal forest and wildlife.

The place
Île aux Aigrettes is a 26-hectare coralline island about 850 metres off Mauritius’s south-east coast. Its dry coastal forest shelters some of the last remnants of this habitat.
On the outing
The island and its reserve form a distinctive landmark in the bay. A guided landing is possible only when arranged with the reserve’s authorized operator.
The client has not confirmed whether this trip includes a landing. The map pin marks the island, not a boat approach or mooring.
